It’s been more than 15 years since the world was taken over by Twilight. Has the passage of time helped secure the books on a pedestal of literary accomplishment? Well, not exactly. But have the movies aged like fine wine and been recognized for their cinematic achievement and quality acting? Also no. But at least the basic love story has proven to be pure and unproblematic through our current social lens, right? Look, let’s focus on the cultural zeitgeist part.
